Hey I’m Joclyn, the heart and soul behind Autumn Maple Photography. A wife, mother, travel enthusiast, amateur baker, movie buff, and a down-to-earth sentimental Family Photographer who knows firsthand the importance of capturing authentic moments that truly celebrate you and your loved ones. A few fun facts
I'm an old soul who loves soaking up affectionate moments with my family. Blasting The Lumineers with my teen and filling my circle with people and places I love fuel my soul. My full name has 19 out of the 26 letters of the alphabet, and it bugs me just a little that it's not an even 20. I'm a mom of two beautiful kids, and I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for lifetime (20 years, in fact!).
From traveling to 7 countries to bungee jumping off a 140ft bridge in New Zealand, I love to embrace life’s adventures and infuse my work with authenticity and joy.

For me family photography is more than just pictures. It's an unwavering commitment to provide exceptional care and capture the real essence of your family. My journey began with frustration over those stuffy, stressful photo sessions at traditional studios. You know the ones: awkward poses, fake smiles, and zero personality. I wanted something more real, more us. That's when I realized there had to be a better way to capture those genuine family moments. Determined to provide a better alternative, I set out to create a space where your family could feel relaxed, comfortable, and truly be themselves.
My photography style is a celebration of simplicity. I don't rely on flashy props or elaborate setups. Instead, I guide our session with prompts encouraging genuine interactions like hugging, snuggling, tickling, hand-holding, and more. This approach allows the true beauty and connections of your family's personalities to shine effortlessly. There's no pressure to 'smile or behave perfectly.' It's about capturing the real, unfiltered moments that make your family unique. My goal is to make you feel at ease, allowing genuine moments of joy and connection to unfold naturally.

While I don’t guarantee an exact number of images, I will make sure I capture your family thoroughly. Most families should expect to receive at least 35 edited images in their gallery following their session for them to select their favorites.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
After our session is done, I'll get to work curating a beautiful online gallery of your images. Once you receive your gallery within 3-4 weeks you'll be able to easily, shop prints and download your photos to your computer.

FAQs
I don't currently offer extended family sessions. My focus is on creating a personalized and meaningful experience for smaller families of up to 6, allowing me to really connect with each family member and capture the intimate moments.
Do you offer extended family sessions?"
I love hitting the road for sessions. Typically, I stick around our main location, but I'm totally up for an adventure. If you're within a 3.5-hour drive, I'm in! Just keep in mind, there might be a small additional fee to cover travel expense.
can you TRAVEL FOR OUR SESSION?
By default, the creators of images always own the rights to the images. However I’ll give you a release to use, print and share your images. The only thing you won’t be able to do is sell your image as a stock photo.
DO I OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?
I do light retouching on all of our images. This means that if there are any glaring objects that should be removed (such as a bump from the tumble your toddler took that morning,) I’ll remove it. Larger edits though require more time and would require me to outsource and add additional editing hours and cost to your collection.
